24 Hour Prayer

Monday and Tuesday

Sign up for one or more 30-minute time slots from 12:00pm on Monday, August 10 to 12:00pm on Tuesday, August 11 as we join with other churches in Central Kentucky to pray for our city. Pray individually, as a family, or with a small group either here at the church or from home. A prayer guide and journal will be available.

We are a community built on expectant prayer, boldly and unceasingly coming to the Father to advance His mission and Kingdom in the world. We invite you to take part in one of our three weekly prayer gatherings in Lower Auditorium Room 12, where we will intercede for our church, city, and world.

GPOPs

Tuesday at 6:45pm

You are welcome at the Grandparents and Parents of Prodigals prayer group which meets in the Prayer Room to pray for our children and grandchildren to come to know and love Jesus.

Young Professionals

Thursday at 6:30pm

Our Young Professionals group is a community of post-school individuals, both single and married, in our 20s and 30s who are pursuing and learning together what it means to follow Jesus.

Come share a meal and fellowship, then spend time in the Word with one of our home groups.

70th Anniversary Celebration: Share Your Story

As we prepare to celebrate our church’s 70th anniversary this fall, we’d love to hear your stories! Please share a favorite memory, meaningful moment, or special experience from your time at our church. Your story will be shared with the anniversary planning committee and may be included as part of our celebration. Thank you for helping us honor God’s faithfulness through the memories of our church family.

Dinner with a Mission: Colombia 2026

Sunday, August 16, 6:00-7:30pm

A team of men from First Alliance Church is preparing for a mission trip to Colombia. During this special evening, we will share:

  • Why we believe God is calling us to Colombia
  • Information about the ministries and people we will be serving
  • What we hope to accomplish during the trip
  • Ways our church family can pray for, encourage, and support the team

The evening will include a free homemade spaghetti dinner. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required so we can prepare enough food.

We hope you will join us for dinner, fellowship, and an opportunity to learn more about this mission and how you can be part of it.

Starting Thursday, August 20 at 6:30pm

GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Over 11 weeks ending November 5, you’ll find relief and comfort as you learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate your personal grief process.
