Worship + 2
We want everyone who calls First Alliance their home church to:
- Commit to a weekly worship service (8:15, 9:30 or 11:00am)
- Participate in a Growing Group
- Join a Serving Group
We desire that every person who calls FAC their home church to be IN a group! While our Sunday morning UP corporate worship experience is a great piece of any disciple’s faith journey, it is essential be IN a smaller group where you can grow in your relationship with Christ, deepen your relationships with other believers, and encourage each other to be more like Jesus daily.
Our IN groups are numerous and varied in their aims, but primarily fall into two categories: Growing Groups and Serving Groups. It is our desire that you take part in one of each.
We want everyone plugged IN for growth, discipleship, care, and community!

Life Groups
Our Life Groups meet in homes all throughout the week all over the Lexington area. If you’d like to get connected into a Life Group, click the button below. We have 20 groups meeting this fall!
Please note that groups will be filled in the order that requests are submitted. Should your requested group reach capacity before you sign up, Heather Smith will contact you and we will do our best to find you an alternative group to join. Thank you for understanding.

College Ministry
We have revisioned FAC College for this coming year and we are so excited!
Our college student brainstorm team- representing 4 colleges and other post high school pathways- wrestled with what students need from the local church, not just what they want.
Out of that work, we have three main connection points for this fall!
- Worship with the broader FAC family on Sunday mornings! We love what you bring to our whole church family and we want to be a spiritual home to you.
- Join a weekly Fusion Group to journey together in a smaller community.
- Attend our twice a month large gatherings designed to bring fun, depth and connection between the different campuses/spaces we have associated with our ministry.
Look for our flag on Sunday mornings starting August 20 to connect with us!
Young Professionals Ministry
Thursdays at 7pm
Enriching community and impactful discipleship are two things that can seem fleeting when you enter into post-college adulthood; it’s not unusual to become overwhelmed when searching for these two vital aspects of the Christian life.
Our Young Professionals group will be learning about gospel identity while we eat, grow, and serve the community together. Our group meets offsite on Thursdays at 7pm.

Boomers & Beyond
This ministry is designed for our more seasoned saints, but all are welcome. Connect with us this fall at our lunches and gatherings. Watch the Connector for up to date information each week.

Women’s Ministry
If you are a woman who attends FAC, consider this your warm welcome to Women’s Ministries. Please contact us with any questions and sign up throughout the year on our app or website for any groups, studies, or opportunities that you think would bless you!

Life to Life
Starts the week of September 10
Life to Life’s purpose is helping women grow deeper in our walks with God and each other. We encourage and invest in each other through genuine care and conversation!
There is no preparation or homework with these groups. Some meet in homes; others meet in coffee shops. It is up to the facilitator of the group. We try to offer a variety of days and times that might suit your schedule.
So if you are yearning for connection through conversation with other women in our church this might be for you! Groups meet once or twice a month from September 2023 to April 2024.
Secret Sisters
Our Secret Sisters group is about making connections within our church family. The group focuses on blessing another sister in Christ by leaving monthly gifts, being her “secret” prayer warrior and encourager.
The term secret sister has a deeper meaning because these women are spiritual sisters! Just as we do for our physical families, we have a responsibility to care for, pray for, and seek blessings for each other.
We will also have the gift of gathering monthly as a large group to fellowship, share a meal, participate in fun activities, serve together, and pray as a large group. We want this group to be life giving to all women who participate.
If you are new to FAC or if you’ve been around for a while, looking for new connections and new sisters in Christ, please join us! Register below complete the form you receive to Susan Scott by September 1.

It is a great time to connect with other men each month and be reminded of what it means to be a Godly man in every area of life.

Our Intergenerational Leadership Team continues to prayerfully envision what this will look like going forward, and to ensure we faithfully steward the work God is calling us to today – not just multi but inter generationally.
