Christmastime Is Here

Take a few moments to check out our Christmas webpage! It provides helpful information about our four Christmas Adam and Eve candlelight services, our Classic Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 14, and our special online service on Sunday, December 28.

You’ll also find a digital copy of our Advent devotional Glimpses of Grace. Our local partner giving initiatives will also be posted the first week of December.

We look forward to sharing this special season with you!

Jacob: Wrestling with God

Our Lead Pastor Paul Smith will bring a message from Genesis 32:24-30 as we begin our Advent series Glimpses of Grace: Jesus in the Old Testament.

Help Spread Christmas Cheer

For the next two Sundays, brighten someone’s day by writing a note of encouragement to one of our church members who are unable to come to church right now. Some are in nursing facilities, some are battling illness, some are simply homebound, but we want them to know they are not forgotten!

Stop by the mailbox in the Atrium to choose a person and fill out a postcard. We will add the address and stamp. Thank you for giving others glimpses of grace this Christmas!

Women’s Ministry Christmas Event

We had such a lovely time last year at our Christmas event that this year we are hosting it twice! Join us for dessert as we share an evening of carols, fun, giveaways, and encouraging stories from a few of our own FAC women.

This is a great opportunity to invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to experience the joy of the season with you as we center on the hope we can find even when we and our world feel weary.

Thursday evening is currently at capacity. We would encourage you to sign up for Friday evening if at all possible. If you are unable to attend Friday, please sign up for the waitlist, and we will open seats as we are able.

Register for Thursday, December 4

Register for Friday, December 5

Men’s Mini Conference: The Mighty Meekness of Masculinity

Saturday, December 6, 8:00-11:00am
Lower Auditorium Chapel

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Robert Cunningham, founder of Christ for Kentucky and host of the Every Square Inch podcast. This session will unpack the biblical view of masculinity, drawn from his podcast series of the same name, and help us understand how true strength is expressed through humility, courage, and Christ-like character.

A full breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00am. This event is free and open to all men, so feel free to invite a friend to come with you. We look forward to learning and growing together!

Classic Christmas Celebration

Sunday, December 14 at 6:00pm

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! FAC Kids and the Intergenerational Ministry invite you to celebrate with us at the Classic Christmas Celebration.

Come ready to carol, hear stories and songs from members of our church family, and spend time reminding ourselves why Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Like last year, some of our kids will form the cutest choir you ever did see! Afterwards we will enjoy refreshments in the Atrium.

The Classic Christmas Celebration is an informal, family-focused, joy-filled night. Everyone, young, old, and those somewhere in between will find themselves joining in the wonder of the Christmas season.

Nursery services for ages 2 and under will be available.
