Today Pastor Tim reminds us that self-control is something we can’t produce by ourselves. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to help build it within us as we exercise it.

Today Matthew Sleeth teaches us that by having Christ and the Holy Spirit in our heart and mind, we can then have self-control. Store up the Word in your mind and give control over to Christ.

This week we’re focusing on the fruit of the spirit of self-control. Susan Scott reads from Ephesians 6 about the armor of God. She reminds us that our battles are spiritual and in order to fight them we must put on the armor of God.
