This Monday starting at noon
Sign up for a 30-minute or one-hour time slot from 12:00pm on Monday, September 11 to 12:00pm on Tuesday, September 12 as we join with 23 other churches in Central Kentucky to pray for our city and nation. We’d love for you to come to the church and use our Prayer Room or The Living Room during your time slot, or you can pray from home. Check out our prayer guide for helpful prompts to use.

Equipping Mind, Body, and Soul
Starts Sunday, September 17 at 9:30am
This 8-week class covers four topics in-depth: two weeks on Grief/Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Sexual Health. Classes will be led by experts Daniel Sulfridge and Mark Logan.
Please note that this class is not a support group. It is aimed at coming alongside those struggling or those helping those who are struggling. The information shared will be from the perspective of the presenter and not the express view of FAC.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality
Starts Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30pm
Join us as we explore how it is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature and how knowing God and knowing ourselves cannot be separated. Cost is $40.
Evangelism 101: Contagious Faith

Contagious Faith is a 6-week study that will prepare you to share God’s love with others in a way that’s authentic, comfortable, and impactful.
As disciples of Christ, we are called to share the gospel, but few of us are naturally comfortable with evangelism. What if we could find a way to talk about Jesus that fits our personalities, makes us feel confident, and ignites a fire in others?
Compass Financial Class
Starts Sunday, October 8 at 11:00am
Join us as we talk about what it means to be faithful disciples in the area of our finances! This 6-week class is led by Josh Lynch and meets from October 8 through November 19, with no class on October 29. The class will meet in the Youth Room.
Men’s Retreat
Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29
Join us for a weekend of connecting with God and other men at Laurel Lake Baptist Camp. There will be good food, good conversation, good worship, and good fun. Scholarships are available; we would love for you to be a part of this experience!

Boomers and Beyond Day Trip to Newport Aquarium
Monday, September 25
Instead of a Sunday night gathering this month, Boomers and Beyond will take a day trip to the aquarium. Cost will be approximately $30 along with a small contribution for gas. We plan to have lunch at the Levee and dinner together on the way back to Lexington. Contact John Doyle for more information.

Child Dedications

Child dedications are a special event in church life where parents publicly dedicate their children—and themselves—to the Lord as they raise their family to know and love Him. Dedications will take place on Sunday, September 24 and are open to kids of all ages, not just infants!
