Staffing Update

It is with mixed feelings of joy and sadness that we announce Cecily Vinegar’s last day as our Guest Services Coordinator was May 31. This was a difficult decision for Cecily, but we are thankful for her two years in this role and her obedience in following what Jesus has called her to next. We cheer her on and pray for her as she transitions into other areas of ministry, focuses on her growing salon business, and enjoys family life!

We are excited to announce that Olivia Whitten is stepping into the role of Guest Services Coordinator. Olivia is in her second year of Greenhouse Residency and has become a cherished part of our FAC family. Give her a high-five and a word of encouragement if you see her in the Atrium this Sunday!

Summer Quarter Sign-Ups

Affinity Groups are an awesome way to stay connected with members of the FAC church family during the summer. Get together as often as you’re able and connect around shared interests. Groups are open now!

24 Hour Prayer

This Monday and Tuesday

Sign up for one or more 30-minute time slots from 12:00pm on Monday, June 8 to 12:00pm on Tuesday, June 9 as we join with other churches in Central Kentucky to pray for our city. Pray individually, as a family, or with a small group either here at the church or from home. A prayer guide and journal will be available.

You are welcome at the Grandparents and Parents of Prodigals prayer group which meets in the Prayer Room to pray for our children and grandchildren to come to know and love Jesus.

Enjoy a great breakfast with the men of FAC, along with a time of discussion, sharing, and prayer in the Dining Room. If you’re able, stay after for some work projects.

Women’s Ministry Summer Bible Study

Groups begin the week of June 14

This summer we are going through the book More Than Anything by Daily Grace Co. The study will focus on idolatry and how we seek to love God more than anything else. Most of the potential idols addressed in the study are good things, but when good things become ultimate things, we have a problem.

The study will be 5 weeks of content with an intro week. While it is lighter in homework than Revelation, it is deep in content. This study can easily work for those who may be in and out throughout the summer, but you definitely do not want to miss it.

Summer Prayer + Worship Night

Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00pm

Our Prayer and Worship Ministries are partnering this summer to provide four powerful evenings of corporate prayer and extended times of worship!

This will be an opportunity to pray together, read scripture, sing, and listen to God’s voice without the time constraints of our normal Sunday morning rhythm.

These will be held on June 16, July 7, and August 4 from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
