Events This Week

24 Hour Prayer
This Monday and Tuesday
Sign up for one or more 30-minute time slots from 12:00pm on Monday, April 13 to 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 14 as we join with other churches in Central Kentucky to pray for our city. Pray individually, as a family, or with a small group either here at the church or from home. A prayer guide and journal will be available.
As a church, we value and champion expectant prayer. Sign up to participate in this important work!

Monday Night Prayer
Monday at 6:45pm
Every Monday, we meet in the Sanctuary at 6:45pm to pray. We are a community built on Expectant Prayer, boldly and unceasingly coming to the Father to advance His mission and Kingdom in the world. We believe prayer is the engine that moves us into all the Lord has prepared for us—welcoming the Spirit’s work in our church and stepping fully into the ongoing conversation with the Trinity. This is a time of worship and prayer led by the Holy Spirit to intercede as a family for our church, city, and the world.
GPOPs
Tuesday at 6:45pm
You are welcome at the Grandparents and Parents of Prodigals prayer group which meets in the Prayer Room to pray for our children and grandchildren to come to know and love Jesus.

GriefShare
Thursday at 6:30pm
GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Over 11 weeks ending May 7, you’ll find relief and comfort as you learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate your personal grief process. Please contact Kensi Duszynski if you have any questions.

Alpha
Training starts April 18
We want to be a part of a city-wide Alpha movement, but we need your help.
What is Alpha? Whether you’re curious about faith or just want space to talk about life, Alpha is for you. It runs all over the world in churches, homes, cafés, and online, bringing people together to watch thought-provoking talks and have honest conversations. No pressure, no judgment, just real connection. Everyone is welcome.
We will start training leaders on Saturday, April 18. Join the team to find out more. If you have any questions, please contact Tyrone Vinegar.

Women’s Ministry Quarterly Coffee
Sunday, April 26 at 2:00pm
Are you new to FAC or new to Women’s Ministry? Then this opportunity is for you! Come enjoy coffee and dessert at the home of one of our Women’s Ministry leaders. This is a great way to learn about Women’s Ministry and how you can plug in in a friendly environment. Address will be provided after registering.

Senior Adult Ministry Gathering
Sunday, April 26 at 6:00pm
We’ll gather as is our habit in the Lower Auditorium Chapel. This month Jennifer Miller, Associate Director of the Center for Church Multiplication at Asbury Seminary, will talk about encountering Christ and His church in Cuba. We hope you’ll be encouraged and challenged by her story and the power of her testimony.
Drinks will be provided. Bring a snack or dessert to share!
