Holiday Service Schedule

Our worship gathering schedule looks a little different over the next few weeks. We will have mid-week Christmas Candlelight Services on December 23 and 24, online-only worship on Sunday, December 28, and only three services on Sunday, January 4. Keep reading for all the details!

Christmas Candlelight Services Schedule

Invite your family and friends to be part of one of these four identical candlelight services. It will be a beautiful, family-friendly service that lasts about 50 minutes. Plan to arrive with plenty of time as we are expecting many people, especially on Christmas Eve.

Nursery services for ages 2 and under will be available at all three services on December 24.

Online-Only Service on December 28

On Sunday, December 28, we will not meet in our building. Instead we will gather in our homes to participate in an online service together. This service has been specifically designed for in-home worship, focusing on God’s gifts to us this past year and a charge as we move forward into 2026.

This service will play on faclex.tv at our usual service times of 8:15, 9:30, 11:00am, and 12:30pm.

It will also be available on our YouTube page to view anytime starting at 8:15am.

Services on January 4

We will only have three services on Sunday, January 4 at 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00. We will be back to all four services on Sunday, January 11.

Life Groups: Create a space to intentionally share your life with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. Over 30 groups meet throughout the week, in Lexington, Nicholasville, Wilmore, and Versailles. See a list of groups and sign up now.

Women’s Ministry: Participate in one of the many groups and events available this quarter. Options include a Bible study on Revelation, our Start Here class on the basics of Christianity, Life to Life tables, and our Quarterly Coffee! Learn more.

Announcements

Church Office Closed Starting December 23

The church office will close on Tuesday, December 23 at noon and reopen on Monday, January 5 at 8:30am. Please note that staff will not be checking their email over the break.

If you have an urgent matter, please call the church office at (859) 223-1394 and leave a message.

Messages will be reviewed once a day, and our Pastor on Duty will respond as needed. We will respond to non-urgent matters when we return on January 5.

The Bible in a Year Reading Plan

While we are not offering Bible In A Year small groups for 2026, we are happy to provide our remaining journals to those who wish to do a plan on their own. We will have a very limited number available at the Welcome Desk in the Atrium this Sunday. We love being a church that is biblically grounded!
