Jeff Miller, our District Superintendent, will be offering a four week class on how Jesus builds His church and what His place is for you. You’ll lean into your calling and ministry giftedness as you study Ephesians 4.

This Saturday

Lexington Rescue Mission Spring Serve

This Saturday, 12:30-5:00pm

Lexington Rescue Mission needs help moving donations back to the fourth floor of their building after recent construction. Come help move items from outside storage units and the first floor. This project is a great multigenerational opportunity and would be a perfect way for life groups to go OUT together. We hope you will come and help us serve this ministry that is doing great work to meet the needs of people in our city.

We are holding our Easter service at Dunbar High School this year!

We will have one main service April 20 at 10:30am (with Children’s Ministry for birth through 4 years old). There will be an identical preservice at 8:15am at Dunbar specifically for all Easter volunteers and their families, as well as those with mobility issues or sensory challenges.

To hear more about the vision for this, check out this clip from Pastor Paul. More information will be released as we get closer to Easter.

We are excited for the opportunity to celebrate baptisms on Easter Sunday!

Any adults or high schoolers may be baptized that day; we will also have a Baptism Sunday on May 11 for children and middle schoolers! We have the ability to celebrate up to 6 baptisms in each Easter service (8:15am preservice and 10:30am main service).

Passover Seder Meal

Tuesday, April 15, 5:00-8:00pm

Join us for a multi-sensory evening of learning, eating, and participating in a Passover seder meal. The experience will be similar to Jesus’ last supper with His disciples and what is still practiced in Jewish homes today.

Maundy Thursday Service

Thursday, April 17, 7:00-7:45pm

Our Maundy Thursday service will be held in the Sanctuary, where we will worship by candlelight, remember the final hours of Jesus’ life, and share communion together.

Our Men’s Ministry meets weekly to enjoy a delicious breakfast, share about our lives, and study the Scriptures as we grow together in community as followers of Jesus Christ.

Men’s Ministry Freedom Group

Starting Thursday, April 10, 6:30-8:15pm

The purpose of this new group is to help each other walk in freedom from anything that keeps us from living the life that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. We will meet in room 203 and 204. Please enter through the main entrance. Sign up now.

Young Professionals

Thursday at 7:00pm

The Young Professionals group meets weekly on Thursdays in homegroups throughout the area to share a meal and dive deeper into what it looks like to follow Jesus. Sign up now.

Enjoy a great breakfast with the men of FAC, along with a time of discussion, sharing, and prayer in the Dining Room. If you’re able, stay after for some indoor work projects.

24 Hour Prayer

April 14-15

Sign up for one or more 30-minute time slots from 12:00pm on Monday, April 14 to 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 15 as we join with other churches in Central Kentucky to pray for our city. Pray individually, as a family, or with a small group either here at the church or from home. A prayer guide and journal will be available.

As a church, we value and champion expectant prayer. Join us in this important work!
