God is on the move in FAC Kids, and you could be a part of it!
We are officially three months into the school year, and God has been working in some amazing ways amongst the kids and families of First Alliance so far this year! Here are a few things we’ve been celebrating in the FAC Kids office this fall:
- In just the past few weeks, we’ve heard from several families letting us know their kids decided to follow Jesus! Is that not the best news ever?! We’re praising God that families are experiencing the work and presence of the Holy Spirit in their homes and for our new brothers and sisters in Christ.
- We had the opportunity to dedicate 5 children on our last Child Dedication Sunday! God is calling families to be faithful in discipling their kids, and we are thrilled to walk alongside them in that.
- Our elementary schoolers have been on an Old Testament Journey! The next time you run into a 1st through 4th grader, quiz them on their remember verses (Psalm 145:5 and Psalm 103:17-18) or ask them a question about the story of the Old Testament. They are well on their way to becoming Biblical scholars!
- Our preschool kids are taking ownership of their place in the church! Every Sunday, we see our Elephants, Giraffes, and Lions become more confident as they make their way to class. Jesus is meeting our littlest kids in a unique way as they play and learn with their teachers.
There are so many other praiseworthy items we could add to this list, but we’d rather you just come see for yourself! If you read this and thought, “I want a closer look at what God is doing there,” we want to talk to you. We have some specific needs (you can see those below), or we would love to meet you and explore together how you can be a part of the movement of God amongst the youngest members of His church. We want you to be part of helping our FAC kids begin and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus!
- 8:00am service: 4 Toddler Room volunteers, 4 preschool volunteers
- 9:30am service: 6 Infant Room volunteers, 8 Toddler Room volunteers, 2 female elementary leaders, 1 male elementary leader
- 11:00am service: 2 Toddler Room volunteers, 4 preschool volunteers
We know serving with FAC Kids isn’t everyone’s thing, and that’s okay! Just as much as we need awesome people to hang out with our kids and students, we also need folks who are committed to praying for our kids, families, and volunteers.
