Upcoming Opportunities for Connection

Dear FAC Family,

Thank you for the ways you are staying connected during this time! We long for the day we can see each other in person.

We want to make sure you know about some upcoming opportunities for connection!

UP

Our weekly on-line worship service will be posted to Facebook and our website Sunday morning at 10:45.

  • Pastor Paul and Heather will greet you all on Sunday morning live on Facebook at 10:40 for anyone who wants to check in and say hello!
  • Immediately following our morning service, we will host another Facebook Live event like we did last week! Susan Scott will lead this time of prayer, praise and connection.
  • If you do not have a Facebook account, here are instructions on how to create one.
  • And as always, if you don’t want to have a Facebook account but would like to see these events, they are posted to our website for replay within a half hour of their conclusion.

We also want to continue to pray for you during this time!

  • If you have a prayer need, please click HERE to submit your request.
  • Also, if you are a medical professional that attends FAC, we have a special prayer initiative we want to start that specially covers you and your families. Please email us at info@faclex.com to give us your name and where you serve. We will be in touch with further details.

IN

We have our Activate Class starting up next Sunday morning! The deadline to sign up is next Friday, April 24. This 4-week class is all about finding your fit through examining your personality, spiritual gifts, and life experiences, and then stepping into all God has for you! You will watch the class from your home at your leisure and then meet for online discussion via Zoom led by Heather Smith on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:30. To sign up, click here.

Men, it is not too late to join our Men’s Ministry Bible Study! They kicked off last week, but we still have room! Click here for more information on studies and times.

OUT

This coming week we will host another Food Drive to benefit families at our two local elementary school partners, Booker T and Wellington.

  • The list of items we need is HERE.
  • Food item drop off is from 1-5pm this Wednesday, April 22, on the apartment side of our building.
  • You do not have to get out of your car, and we will be sure to honor social distancing and safety.

We are continuing to reach out to many of our local medical professionals, other Alliance churches and our partners in Lexington including Natalie’s Sisters, Russell Cave Church and others. If you want to support these initiatives, giving to the FAC General Fund at faclex.com/giving is the best way. We are releasing funds generously from there to support others and meet needs.

If you have a need during this time that requires assistance, please reach out to us at our COVID-19 CARES section of our website. We want to serve YOU during this time!
FAC family, thank you for continuing to move UP towards God in worship, IN towards each other in discipleship, and OUT towards the world in mission even in this unique season. See you on-line for worship together on Sunday!
