Family Worship Sunday

This Sunday

On Family Worship Sundays, we invite our Kindergarten through 12th grade students to join the greater First Alliance family for corporate worship and teaching together side-by-side. The Kindergarten through 12th grade classes will not be meeting this morning, but the Nursery and Preschool will still be open. Praise packs, full of resources designed to help our younger friends focus and participate with the sermon, will be available at the back of the Sanctuary. Tim Davis, our Pastor to Children and Families, will be preaching, and he will lead us through a time of prayer and consecration over the upcoming school year. We can’t wait to worship together with our intergenerational church family!

Step Up Sunday

Sunday, August 9

August 9 is Step Up Sunday! This is the day our Kindergarten through 8th grade students move up to their new classes for the 2026-2027 school year. They’ll meet their new teachers and see their new rooms. Step Up Sunday is always a fun day of celebrating all we’ve done together over the past year and getting ready for a new year of learning and growing in the Lord. We are so excited to see all God has in store for the kids and students of FAC this school year!

Middle School & High School Small Groups

Beginning Wednesday, September 2

On Wednesday, September 2, our Middle and High School small groups kick off for the school year! Middle School meets from 6:30-8:00pm in Room 217 and starts with a large group lesson before breaking into grade and gender-based small groups. High School meets from 6:00-8:00pm in the High School Room. They share dinner together, listen to a short sermon, then break into grade and gender-based small groups to finish the night.

Serve with Next Gen

We have several opportunities to serve with the next generation at FAC this school year. See below for open volunteer opportunities and volunteer training times. If you’re interested in serving or would like to learn more, let us know!

Nursery & Preschool

• 8:00 service – 4 volunteers once a month
• 9:30 service – 7 volunteers once a month
• 11:00 service – 10 volunteers once a month
• 11:00 service – 2 volunteers weekly (August-May)

Kindergarten & Elementary

• 9:30 service – 2 female and 3 male small group leaders weekly (August-May)
• 11:00 service – 4 volunteers once a month

Middle School

• 9:30 service – 4 female and 3 male small group leaders weekly (September-May)
• Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm – 2 female and 4 male small group leaders weekly (September-May)
