Affinity Groups Are Open

Affinity Groups a great way to meet new people who enjoy doing the same things! Whether it’s hiking, cooking, board games, golf, photography, or anything in between, these groups provide welcoming spaces to build relationships with those whose paths you might never cross on a Sunday morning. Groups typically meet once or twice a week throughout the summer.

Events This Week

Women’s Ministry Summer Bible Study

Groups start this week

This summer we are going through the book More Than Anything by Daily Grace Co. The study will focus on idolatry and how we seek to love God more than anything else. Most of the potential idols addressed in the study are good things, but when good things become ultimate things, we have a problem.

The study will be 5 weeks of content with an intro week. While it is lighter in homework than Revelation, it is deep in content. This study can easily work for those who may be in and out throughout the summer, but you definitely do not want to miss it.

Summer Prayer + Worship Night

Tuesday, 7:00-9:00pm

Our Prayer and Worship Ministries are partnering this summer to provide four powerful evenings of corporate prayer and extended times of worship!

This will be an opportunity to pray together, read scripture, sing, and listen to God’s voice without the time constraints of our normal Sunday morning rhythm.

There will be two more worship nights on July 7 and August 4.

Announcements

Finish Strong, Start Strong

Since we recorded the Treasurer’s Update video for the Annual Meeting, we have fallen behind on the projections for giving to the General Fund. This is not the way we hoped to end this fiscal year and would love to see a strong start to giving to the General Fund for the new fiscal year which starts in July.

If you have been contributing to the ministries with your time or money, we thank you! If you have not participated in giving financially this year, would you consider making a gift to the General Fund before the end of June and help us make a strong start to the new fiscal year in July?

You can contribute to our ministries using the Church Center app on your phone (for iOS or Android), from our website, or by placing a check in one of the giving boxes at the back of the Sanctuary. Your generosity is a reflection of our generous Lord and fuels ministry here, in our community, and around the globe!

Medical Team Volunteers Needed

If you are an active or retired licensed medical professional or certified EMT, we would love for you to join our Medical Team. This on-call, on-site role provides medical assistance in the event of an emergency and assists staff in determining whether 911 should be called.

If you are willing to help or would like more information, contact Abigail Stone.

YoungLives Donations

FAC’s local partner YoungLives thanks you for your generous donations! Here is a list of items we currently need.

  • Girls’ spring clothes (sizes newborn to 4T)
  • Girls’ lightweight sleepers
