Affinity Groups Are Open Now
Affinity Groups are back this summer! They’re a great way to connect with others at FAC and do something fun. Groups will meet about once a month in June, July, and August. See a full listing and sign up now.
Summer Sunday Schedule Change ☀️
Starts Next Sunday
With college students home for the summer and many families traveling out of town, we’re going to move to 3 services for a few weeks this summer!
- There will be no 12:30pm service in person or online beginning next Sunday, June 8.
- Our 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00am services will continue to meet in person and online.
- The Chapel/Lower Auditorium will remain open for those who wish to worship there.
- We will return to 4 services on August 3!

Annual Business Meeting Celebration
Next Sunday during all services
We look forward to celebrating all that God has done in the last year at our Annual Business Meeting Celebration. We hold it during all our morning services next Sunday, June 8.
Visit our special Annual Meeting page on our website for everything you need to know as the meeting approaches. It has been updated with our Annual Report, proposed budget and financial summary, a video from the Leadership Board Treasurer discussing the proposed budget, and the slate of officers up for election. Physical copies of the Annual Report will be available in the Atrium.

How to Plan a Wedding
Saturday, May 31 from 8:00 to 11:00am
The is a free follow up to our original conference in February. We will watch a video from Greg Stier about the Great Commission, receive training on how to share our faith by FAC member Steve DeVries, and put what we learn into practice!

This event will be hosted in the Conference Room during our second service. You will meet some of our pastoral staff, hear about our church, enjoy a light breakfast, and find out ways we can serve you.

This long-standing class is centered around an in-depth study of a book of the Bible and taught by a team of teachers. We alternate between Old and New Testament and spend the summer months in Psalms. Learn more.

Doug Matthews, Executive Pastor of Ministry Development, will be stepping down from his role June 16 as he relocates to Ohio later this summer. Doug and his wife Carol have a wonderful opportunity in academia to bridge the church and higher education and live closer to family, including aging family members.
We are so grateful for Doug’s work in leading our IN team as well as his work in various adult education classes. Doug has demonstrated a servant leadership posture and has been a valuable member of our staff team.
As you see Doug and Carol please thank them for the time that they have invested in FAC. Pastor Paul will have a brief moment with Doug on Sunday, June 1 before his message.

Food Service Ministry: Informational Meeting
Tuesday at 5:30pm
Our new Food Service Ministry focuses on serving other ministry groups at FAC and is a wonderful way to build community while serving. Whether you enjoy the thought of cooking in our kitchen here at FAC with a small group of people, providing items for special events straight from your home, or simply serving food and drinks to those attending various events, there are a plethora of participation options throughout the year.
Come to the informational meeting on Tuesday, June 3 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm to find out more about the ways you can serve with this new ministry.
Dialogue Session
Tuesday at 6:00pm
Our Executive Team will host a Dialogue Session in the Lower Auditorium to answer any questions you may have about the Annual Report on this Tuesday, June 3. This meeting is optional—no presentations or voting will occur.
If you have any questions about the Annual Meeting materials and aren’t able to attend the Dialogue Session, please send them to Deb MacKay, our Executive Pastor of Strategy and Operations. She will make sure they are directed to the appropriate person.

Our Men’s Ministry meets weekly to enjoy a delicious breakfast, share about our lives, and study the Scriptures as we grow together in community as followers of Jesus Christ. Sign up now.
Men’s Ministry Freedom Group
Thursday at 6:30pm
The purpose of this new group is to help each other walk in freedom from anything that keeps us from living the life that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. We will meet in room 203 and 204. Please enter through the main entrance. Sign up now.

The Young Professionals group meets weekly on Thursdays in homegroups throughout the area to share a meal and dive deeper into what it looks like to follow Jesus. Sign up now.

Join us for sunshine, worship, and community as we begin the summer quarter in Women’s Ministry. We will hear from some FAC women, worship together, and learn about all of the opportunities to engage this summer. You do not want to miss this event; we hope to see you there!

Women’s Ministry Bible Study:
The Attributes of God
Groups start the week of June 22
This 7-week study of God’s character walks through God’s incommunicable attributes, which are characteristics that are only true of Him, as well as His communicable attributes, which are attributes that we are called to reflect. When we know God, we love Him, and He changes everything.
Groups will meet in person and online at varying days and times throughout the week.

Women’s Ministry Bible Study:
The Bible in a Year
Groups start the week of June 22
One of our FAC core values is being biblically grounded, so we are offering resources and groups to read the Bible in a year in 2025! This group will be jumping right into where we should be in our weekly readings. These groups are for people who are continuing their Bible in a Year reading or are ready to jump in alongside others as we keep reading through the Old Testament.
Groups will meet in person on varying days and times throughout the week.
Next Gen Ministries

Don’t Do Summer Alone
Tuesdays at 6:00pm
WGM Student Center in Wilmore
Join the College Ministry weekly throughout the summer as we spend time studying the scriptures together. We will have a time of fellowship, teaching, small groups, prayer, and reflection.
Don’t Do Summer Alone will meet through August 15.

FAC’s local partner YoungLives thanks you for your generous donations! Here is a list of items that we are currently accepting.
- Diapers (size 6) and pull-ups (2T/3T and 3T/4T)
- Baby wipes
- Girls’ sleepers and clothes (sizes newborn to 4T)

Lose something?
Check our lost and found, located in the copy room of the church office inside the two cabinets with yellow labels. Items are kept for at least one month before being donated or discarded.
