A Christmas Letter From the Donahue Family

Dear FAC family,

Looking back on 2024, our family has many reasons to celebrate! In February, we were accepted to serve as Global Workers with World Gospel Mission in Paraguay. This was the final step in about a year-long process of sensing a call to missions and discerning details. God has been kind to present clear, open doors throughout.

Now we find ourselves in a season of waiting as we build our ministry team of prayer and financial partners. Once we are fully funded, we plan to move to a rural town in Eastern Paraguay where we will be near many areas that are yet to hear the Gospel.

There are about six hundred indigenous communities in Paraguay that are still unreached with the Good News of Jesus. God is inviting our family to join the work He is doing to reach them.

The Holy Spirit is moving and working in these communities in new ways. Hearts are open in ways they have not been in the past, and we pray the Lord will send more workers to share the Gospel in the fertile soil of Paraguayan hearts.

This Christmas season, as we find ourselves waiting for the opportunity to follow the Lord’s leading to Paraguay, we are reminded of the great expectancy with which the Israelites waited for the Messiah all those years ago.

The same Jesus who was Emmanuel then is Emmanuel now. He is still with us.

He was saving people then and He still saves all who call on Him today. What a great truth we have to lean on…and to share!

May the Lord meet each of you with His peace this season as you contemplate the gift of Jesus our Savior.

We are grateful to call you our church family.

Christmas blessings,

Andrés, Bethany, and David Donahue
