A Christmas Letter From The Carter Family

Dear FAC Family,

Merry Christmas from the Carters in the Middle East! We are so thankful for your partnership. This Christmas we are preparing for a ladies Christmas outreach tea and our theme is Emmanuel, God with Us (Matthew 1:23). For us this promise, that God is with us, is so beautiful for the believer. We are not alone, God has come down and met us where we are at, in our sinful state, and made a way for us to be in fellowship with Him now and forever. For our local friends living in darkness, many times, they feel alone, unseen, and forgotten. May we declare to them the Hope and Truth that God is with us. He has come to rescue all of us. They are seen and known and part of God’s plan, and God’s desire is for them to be in His family. God’s plan is that every tribe, tongue, and nation would gather around the throne.

Pray for us that we would use these opportunities to share our faith with those without hope! Here if people celebrate Christmas, many put up a tree, wear Santa hats, and celebrate “Christmas” on January 1st! So many are confused and not sure what Christmas is here! Pray we would have opportunities to share the true meaning and that our hearts would be at peace knowing Emmanuel, God is with us and the people here in the Middle East. We pray the same for you where you find yourselves this Christmas!

Pray for new local believers celebrating their first Christmas this year that they will rejoice in the truth and find ways to celebrate with other believers. Pray that they would use this special season to share Christ with their nonbelieving friends and family! Pray for our small group of believers that they would experience God with Us this Christmas in a real and tangible way.

In Christ,

Mark, Kirsten, Grace, Jed, Reuben, Jude, Isaiah, Faith, and Hope
