Christmas Service Opportunities
Drop-offs begin December 4
Join us in serving our local partners this Christmas!
Option 1
Help us provide meals for over 80 families this Christmas season with our partners Wellington Elementary, Booker T. Washington Elementary, and Russell Cave Church of Christ. As in previous years, we have a set menu for the meals which costs about $60 for a family of 4–6. You will receive the list by email once you sign up.
Option 2
Help us provide gifts for 25 students at Wellington Elementary through their Angel Tree program. You will receive your student’s name and wish list once you sign up.
Option 3
Donate $25 towards a gift for 30 women through our partner Natalie’s Sisters.
We will be collecting items at the gym/dining room entrance at the times listed below. Ring the doorbell and a volunteer will help you unload.

Women’s Christmas Event
Thursday, December 8 at 6:30pm
Join us for an evening of worship, food, and joy-filled messages from some of the women here at FAC as we rejoice in the coming of Jesus.
Peru Mission Trip
June 9–18, 2023
We are headed to Peru in 2023! Anyone is welcome to apply—we’ve led teams with 13-year-olds, 70-year-olds, and every age in between. Cost is still to be determined but will probably be $3,500–4,000.

Oh Boy! We Can Hardly Wait!
Saturday, December 10 at 9am
Breakfast at 8:30am
Join us for this fun, interactive way for the whole church to celebrate Christmas together. We’ll play games, sing some songs, tell the Christmas story together, and do a project to benefit our local partners! Along the way, we’ll discover that sometimes the gifts we have to wait for turn out the be the greatest gifts of all.
To make the morning even sweeter, you and your family can join us at 8:30am for a family breakfast hosted by our Men’s Ministry Service Team!
This event is for everyone—from the littlest members of FAC to our 99-year-old kids-at-heart. Registration closes Sunday, December 4. You’re not going to want to miss it!

Boomers and Beyond Thanksgiving Feast
This Sunday at 6pm
Join us in the Lower Auditorium as we celebrate all our Father’s goodness to us with a Thanksgiving feast. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish, dessert, or snack to share.
We’ll be joined by special guest speaker Jessie Chapman, daughter of Gary and Mary Chapman and Senior Director of Outpatient Services for Re-group Outpatient Behavioral Health Services in Ashland. Jessie will be sharing her story of redemption and recovery from substance abuse and offering hope for those who are or know someone who is oppressed by addictions.
