Living OUT – June 8, 2020

Hey First Alliance family,

We are grateful for each one of you and how we’ve stayed engaged in worship and mission during such a unique season. As we step into the next phase of ministry at FAC, we desire to continue to offer opportunities for connectivity throughout our week and not just reopening our building on Sunday morning. Our entire church’s engagement in our outreach initiatives, our prayer nights, and worship online and in person is key to our unified pursuit of all of what God has for us.

As we continue in all three of our church’s movements, we are grateful for the continued momentum in OUT towards the world on mission. I wanted to share a couple things with you as we look towards our week and reopening our building this coming Sunday.

  • Thank you SO much for your involvement in last week’s drive for the items our partner, Natalie’s Sisters, have requested. We were able to supply hygiene and snack bags to cover their needs until our next drive for items. We are grateful for your generosity for our partners!
    • Our next drive will be June 17th from 1-5pm. We will need those same items from last drive which you can find online or in an upcoming email.
  • We still need volunteers to create the most hospitable and welcoming setting we can provide for our Sunday gatherings. If you are able to serve on one of our teams, please sign up here. Our volunteer teams will make the FAC building safe and welcoming to our family and guests!
  • We are launching our Evangelism 101 course this coming Sunday! You still have time to sign up if you are looking for conversations, teaching, and tools to help share your story and the story of God, the Gospel. This will be held via Zoom at 9am on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, please reach out to me!

I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in God’s Mission during this season.

Thankful,

Zach Meerkreebs
