This Weekend and Beyond

Hello FAC family!

As we end this week and head into the weekend, here are some things we want to be sure you are aware of!

Our weekly on-line worship service will be posted to Facebook and our website on Sunday morning at 10:45am. We love gathering with you all around the city! Immediately following our morning service, we will host another Facebook Live event like we did the last 3 weeks! Pastor Paul will lead this “Virtual Atrium” time of prayer, praise and connection. Join us! (If you do not have a Facebook account, here are instructions on how to create one. And as always, if you don’t want to have a Facebook account but would like to see these events, they are posted to our website for replay within a half hour of their conclusion.)

Remember, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in our on-line virtual service this week! Communion elements are available on the front porch of the church if you need them. We look forward to this meaningful time.

Prayer night will go virtual again on Monday night. Tune in to Facebook at 6:45pm to take part. It will be posted to our website at approximately 8pm for replay.

Yesterday we sent out an email containing the names of FAC medical professionals along with three specific ways you can be praying for them. (Click HERE if you would like to see it and didn’t receive it!) Thank you for praying! If you work in the medical field and would like your name added to this list so we can specifically be praying for you and your family, please email us at info@faclex.com. Include your name and the position you serve in. We will be sending out another prayer initiative in the coming weeks!

We continue to receive questions about how FAC is doing financially. Thank you for your concern and continued financial faithfulness! We are so grateful for your support. At this point, our church is meeting all of our financial obligations and keeping our expenses low, while continuing to be generous to our partners, medical professionals and local schools. Your generosity is enabling this and we are grateful. As this situation begins to transition into its next stage and as more of the long-term effects are felt, we will continue to need your financial support. You can mail your tithes and offerings to the church office, or you can click HERE to be connected to our on-line giving platform.

Finally, you may have heard the Governor announce that churches in Kentucky will be permitted to start gathering again as of Wednesday, May 20. We were very excited to hear that! That said, the Governor quickly stated that there will be measures churches need to take with social distancing, crowd capacity limits and limited programming as they reconvene. We are looking forward to learning more about these things and finding the best way for our FAC family to join together to worship in person! We will keep you posted as we know more about dates, times and logistics specific to FAC. Please keep us in prayer as we navigate our return!

We look forward to seeing you on-line this Sunday as we keep looking at how we can have Joy Even When!
