Prayer for Medical Professionals

Please join us in continuing to lift up our FAC medical professionals and their families in prayer. We’ve provided an updated list of names of those serving in the medical field along with three ways you can be praying for them. We also want to recognize and include ALL individuals that are working in the healthcare profession within our church and our community in this prayer initiative. Pray for TRUST

Jesus, encourage each person serving in the medical field to trust in You as their protector and provider. Help them to persevere with joy in the position You have called them to. May their hearts trust deeply in Your sovereign, good and loving plan for their lives.

Psalm 20:7 – Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Isaiah 26:3-4 – You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.

Pray for WISDOM

Holy Spirit, give discernment and wisdom to our friends as they make numerous decisions each day. Guide them with confidence in You. Remind them of Your steadfast companionship. May they be used to impact those around them with the hope of Your love.

Proverbs 2:6 – For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

James 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Pray for STRENGTH

Father, bring emotional, physical, mental and spiritual strength to those in the healthcare field. Strengthen them with Your power. Renew and refresh them with Your constant, abiding love. May they look to You for their source of strength and as their place of refuge.

Habbakuk 3:19 – The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights.

Psalm 105:4 – Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.
