Staying Connected

Hello FAC Family!

We hope that you continue to connect with God and others during this season. There are so many great opportunities for worship and connection this coming week!

Sunday, we will host our virtual Sunday morning service again at 10:45am on Facebook and faclex.com. Please join us for this Palm Sunday celebration! Parents, please be sure to come by the church to pick up palm branches on Friday or Saturday so your kids can wave them during “Hosanna” as is our FAC tradition!

Monday night is prayer night! We will host it on Facebook LIVE at 6:45. If you don’t have a Facebook profile but would like to make one so you can participate in real time, click here. If you can’t participate via Facebook, it will be posted to our website at 8pm Monday night as well under our daily connect and virtual services section.

Wednesday we are hosting another food drive to bless our local school partners Booker T and Wellington. Lists of the food needed and details are posted HERE. We are so thankful to be serving our city in practical ways in this unprecedented time!

Our Maundy Thursday service will also be streamed virtually on Thursday night at 6:30 on Facebook. Again, if you cannot participate on that platform, it will be posted to faclex.com at 8pm that night. We will sing, read scripture, and take the Lord’s supper. You can stop by the church to pick up communion elements for that service on Wednesday during our food drive if you don’t have things on hand at home.

Finally, check out the attached graphic that lists ALL the ways we have taken ministry virtual at FAC. Kids, youth, women’s, and men’s ministry all have connection opportunities for you! It is essential during this time of physical separation that we stay spiritually engaged with God and others.

We long for the day we can gather together in person again. Until then, may we be faithful to all God has for us in this season as we are the church dispersed all over the city all the time.
