Looking Ahead

Hello FAC family!

Thank you for continuing to lean in during this time! We are so grateful for your continued engagement in our on-line services, daily connect videos, student ministries content and outreach initiatives. We love how many of you are staying connected in groups such as Young Professionals, Life Groups, and Women’s and Men’s studies! Connection to God and others, especially as this season draws on, is essential. We pray you are finding encouragement through your FAC family!

As a reminder, TODAY is the last day to sign up for Activate. Registration closes tonight as you will need to prepare tomorrow for the first session on Sunday morning! This 4-week class is all about finding your fit through examining your personality, spiritual gifts, and life experiences, and then stepping into all God has for you! You watch the class from your home at your leisure and then meet for online discussion via Zoom led by Heather Smith on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:30. To sign up, click here.

Our weekly on-line worship service will be posted to Facebook and our website on Sunday morning at 10:45am. We love gathering with you all around the city!

  • Pastor Paul and Heather will greet you all briefly on Sunday morning live on Facebook at 10:40 for anyone who wants to check in and say hello!
  • Immediately following our morning service, we will host another Facebook Live event like we did the last 2 weeks! Dan McPherson will lead this time of prayer, praise and connection. Join us!
  • If you do not have a Facebook account, here are instructions on how to create one.
  • And as always, if you don’t want to have a Facebook account but would like to see these events, they are posted to our website for replay within a half hour of their conclusion.

As we look ahead to May, we wanted to let you know as well that on Sunday, May 3, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in our on-line virtual service. If you schedule a grocery pick up between now and then, you may want to add communion elements to your order. We will also have communion elements set out on our front porch of the church for you to pick up if that serves you better throughout next week. Contact our church office at info@faclex.com if you need communion elements delivered to your home. Prayer night will go virtual again this month on Monday, May 4. Stay tuned for more details on how to be part of it.

We look forward to seeing you on-line this Sunday as we keep looking at how we can have Joy Even When!
