We are holding our Easter service at Dunbar High School this year!
We will have one main service April 20 at 10:30am (with Children’s Ministry for birth through 4 years old). There will be an identical preservice at 8:15am at Dunbar specifically for all Easter volunteers and their families, as well as those with mobility issues or sensory challenges.
To hear more about the vision for this, check out this clip from Pastor Paul.
Maundy Thursday Service
This Thursday, 7:00-7:45pm
Our Maundy Thursday service will be held in the Sanctuary, where we will worship by candlelight, remember the final hours of Jesus’ life, and share communion together.

We are excited for the opportunity to celebrate baptisms on Easter Sunday!
Any adults or high schoolers may be baptized that day; we will also have a Baptism Sunday on May 11 for children and middle schoolers! We have the ability to celebrate up to 6 baptisms in each Easter service (8:15am preservice and 10:30am main service).
Please let us know if you’re interested!
A video invitation from Pastor Paul
We are excited to worship with you on Easter Sunday!
In order to help you navigate this new space, check out the following video where Pastor Paul walks you through where to enter the building and what to do when you get inside. Be sure to also watch the parking videos below that apply to you.
Please remember:
- You can enter through Doors 1A (main entrance) or Doors at 5B (gym foyer side entrance).
- We will have welcome centers for guests and Easter signs/photo booths for pictures in both entry ways at 1A and 5B. Stop there on the way in or out.
- We will not be serving any coffee or food this Easter. We also ask that you do not bring beverages. We want to take care of the Dunbar gym!
- You need to arrive early! It is going to take time to park and get to the main service.
- We will have seating for 2,200 in the gym. Half is floor seating in chairs and half is bleacher seating.
- If you are willing and able to sit in the bleachers, we would be grateful! Please feel free to bring stadium chairs or padding to make your seat more comfortable.
- There is an overflow livestream chapel across from the gym in the Dunbar auditorium. It will seat another 300 people, and will have a prayer team present.
- The service will last a bit over an hour. Praise packs will be available for kids 5-8. If you have a child birth-4, see the info below on Children’s ministry!
Parking
Please watch the very brief parking videos below that apply to you!
For volunteers

8:15 service
If you are attending the 8:15 service, we have a special section for you. There is additional handicapped and senior parking up front as well as a drop off option before parking (see video below). We also hope to have two golf carts available to drive you to the entrance if needed.

Senior and handicap parking

Drop off area
Should you need to drop off someone, there is a special path for that. Guest services team members will help you unload efficiently so we do not create a back-up.

10:30 service
Most of our FAC family will be attending the 10:30 service. Plan to arrive early. Here Pastor Deb shows you what to expect for parking flow. We hope to have a few golf carts ready for those parked farther out needing assistance.
Willing to Walk
If you are Willing to Walk at Dunbar, please use your regular yellow Willing to Walk tags! If you need a new one, you can pick one up in the Atrium the next 2 Sundays. This will help our parking team send you to the right section.

Exiting right on Man O’ War
Using the side exit to turn right on Man O’ War will help our flow. An aerial view is also available below. If you need to exit left on Man O’ War, you must exit out the front.

Full map
Here are the aerial views of the parking lot. Note that the blue section near the 5B entrance will be for staff and volunteers as it will be filled event-style.

Please follow all instructions of our parking team.
They are following a plan to maximize flow, safety, and lessening everyone’s stress as we park in a new space.
For the 8:15 service, plan to arrive between 7:45 and 8:00.
For the main 10:30 service, plan to arrive in between 9:45 to 10:10.
It will take about 10 minutes to get parked, walk to the doors, enter the gym. Plan for additional time if you have a child to check in.
