Gavin Duerson - Church Planter

Family:  Karla (wife), Guy (6), Emma (5), Kendall (2), and Beau (9 wks).

Ministry:  I am excited to be heading up the new church plant that we at First Alliance will be involved with in the coming years.  Eventually, I will serve as pastor for this new congregation, but for now I am excited to serve alongside the staff here at FAC in any way that I am needed.  For more on the new church plant visit http://www.gavinduerson.com.

I love first alliance because: The faith it is demonstrating by seeking to be a church planting church (and involving me of all people in the process!). Also, when I look around I get the sense that I'm surrounded by a lot of people that are serious about their faith.  I continue to learn a lot about following Jesus from the people here.

In my free time i like to:  Spend time with my wife and kids, golf, skateboard, ski, follow the Cats, listen to music, play basketball, hang out with friends, laughing, reading my favorite websites.
