"Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand."  - Matthew 3:2

Wednesday, March 9

7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Prayer Room

Our Prayer Room will be open for silence, meditation, and prayer. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, the 40 days leading up to and culminating in the passion and resurrection for our Savior, Jesus.

This day provides an opportunity for reflection, repentance, fasting, and contrition. Scripture Readings will be available as well as ashes for those who would like to mark themselves with a symbol of mourning over personal and corporate sin.

Ash Wednesday also marks the beginning of Lent, a season to reflect on the events leading up to Christ's death and crucifixtion. Our pastoral staff has contributed to a Lent Devotional Guide. You can pick up a copy of this guide at Guest Services, download the full guide here, or follow the reading for each day on our Online Prayer Guide.
